I am one of the organisers of the Aberdovey Bike Ride, a charity event running since 1993 challenging circa 600 cyclists to complete either a 100 or 125 mile cycle ride from Wolverhampton to Aberdovey.

Over the last 8 years or so we have been fortunate enough to have marshals from MBM to support the handful of volunteer motorcyclists that ensure the smooth running of the ride and responding to incidents ranging from mechanical breakdowns to medical emergencies.

The professionalism, attitude and capability that MBM bring to the event is exceptional. The riders are experienced motorcyclists, well versed in the challenges of marshalling big numbers over such a distance, whilst being approachable and good humoured. 

The most recent event they supported in June 23 was without doubt a challenge requiring quick thinking, adaptability and the provision of immediate medical care to an injured rider who required airlifting to hospital. This did not phase the MBM staff who were in close proximity and without hesitation offered support. 

I can honestly say it is a privilege to work with the MBM team and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone planning a similar event requiring motorcycle marshalling.

 This year (2013) must have been incredibly difficult for MBM as the weather was very high in temperature and was rapidly becoming one of the hottest days in many years. However, this did not change the attitude and professionalism of the marshalling team

 MBM were booked via Adam Roy to Marshall Ben's Ride, a charity Motorcycle Ride. The whole team work fantastically together and are extremely professional on every level.  The ride went perfectly without a hitch and was timed to perfection which was brilliant and gave us the ability to plan around the ride length. "We used Midlands Bike Marshals for the first time this year on the Bridgnorth Lions walk, which raises more than £100,000 for charity.

"This is a 22 mile twisting and undulating walk through the Shropshire countryside by more than 500 walkers.

"The marshals helped enormously in making walkers feel safe on public roads, often using a ' convoy' system to allow cars to pass by safely. Feedback from the walkers was extremely positive  - we will , undoubtedly, ask the marshals to help us again next year".
